Welcome to MatchDay. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use MatchDay.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use MatchDay. By using the platform, you confirm you meet this requirement. Users in the EU must be at least 16 unless parental consent is provided.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity under it. Use a strong, unique password and do not share your credentials. Notify us immediately at dev.matchday@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

One person may hold one account. Creating multiple accounts to evade bans or restrictions is not permitted.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use MatchDay to:

• Post content that is hateful, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, or promotes violence
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Spam, advertise, or post unsolicited commercial content
• Share content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Attempt to access, scrape, or disrupt the platform's systems or other users' accounts
• Post content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or ours
• Share pornographic or sexually explicit content

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you post (posts, replies, images, videos). By posting on MatchDay, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, distribute, and store your content as necessary to operate the platform.

You represent that you have the rights to post any content you share, including images, videos, and text.

5. Content Moderation

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to the community or the platform. We may suspend or terminate accounts for repeated or serious violations.

6. Football Data

Match data, player statistics, league tables, and related football information displayed on MatchDay is sourced from Sportmonks and is provided for informational purposes only. We make no guarantees as to its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.

7. Availability

We aim to keep MatchDay available but we do not guarantee uptime or uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

MatchDay is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or meet your requirements.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MatchDay and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time via Account Settings. We may terminate or suspend your access for violations of these terms, with or without notice.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. We will notify registered users of material changes. Continued use of MatchDay after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
